Dean's Message
Welcome to the Carroll School of Management at Boston College! Here, we do what any other top-ranked business school does鈥攑repare students to become experts in their chosen field, ready for practice on graduation day. But there鈥檚 a great deal more to a Boston College education.
We teach students to think deeply, broadly, creatively, analytically鈥攖o seek out new ideas every day and to become lifelong learners. We also produce leaders who are engaged with urgent social and ethical challenges in contemporary business and society.
All of that is in our DNA, as part of a university grounded in the centuries-old tradition of Jesuit Catholic liberal arts education. That鈥檚 the Boston College difference.
At the Carroll School, we are emphatically committed to both the highest level teaching and equally high-level research by our globally recognized faculty. A number of schools do one or the other quite brilliantly. By virtue of our tradition and our mission, we are passionately dedicated to both. Honestly, I don鈥檛 know of any business school in the world that brings together both of those qualities as clearly and distinctly as we do.
