Puerto Rico Chapter Map Location Marker

The Puerto Rico Chapter was formally established in 2014 and is home to just under 1,000 alumni, parents, and friends.

This mighty group of Eagles is a tight-knit and welcoming community, who frequently gathers for everything from networking, to professional development, to game watches and more!

The presence of Eagles in Puerto Rico has been notable since the 80’s; when Clifford Myatt Sr. organized gatherings at the Swiss Chalet. His son,Ìý Clifford Myatt Jr. ‘75, then followed by organizing game watches at Shannan's Pub. Additionally, the relentless recruitment efforts of Hector Viña ‘80 has been key to the successful enrollment of hundreds of outstanding Eagles!

Major: Major in Accounting

Occupation: Controller

Favorite ÌÇÐÄvlogÖ±²¥Æ½Ì¨ Memory: I have many good memories and difficult to decide on one. Definitely, the game where ÌÇÐÄvlogÖ±²¥Æ½Ì¨ defeated Notre Dame in 1993 is one of them.

Why did you get involved in your local chapter?: During my years at ÌÇÐÄvlogÖ±²¥Æ½Ì¨, I was part of the ÌÇÐÄvlogÖ±²¥Æ½Ì¨ PR Club/Association and when the ÌÇÐÄvlogÖ±²¥Æ½Ì¨ Alumi chapter was created, I thought it will be a good opportunity to continue to build strong connection within the ÌÇÐÄvlogÖ±²¥Æ½Ì¨ community, not only for the alumni, but also for our current students and parents. ÌÇÐÄvlogÖ±²¥Æ½Ì¨ has been an instrumental part of what I am now as a professional and person, therefore to be able to give back to ÌÇÐÄvlogÖ±²¥Æ½Ì¨ and support each other as ÌÇÐÄvlogÖ±²¥Æ½Ì¨ taught us is very important to me.

What are your local favorites in your city?: I love going to the beach in the Dorado area.

Fun Fact:Ìý In ÌÇÐÄvlogÖ±²¥Æ½Ì¨, I studied at CSOM as an Accounting major and decided to take as many classes as I could in drawing and painting which is very different to the accounting path.
