Sean Quinn is the Global Cybersecurity & Privacy Regulatory Compliance Lead for IBM's enterprise operations. In this capacity, Sean drives strategy, preparedness and compliance with laws and standards impacting IBM鈥檚 operations.听Sean is also the Business Unit Privacy Lead for IBM's CISO organization.

Donal Kerr
Donal Kerr is the Co-founder of 4Securitas, a Dublin based Cybersecurity software firm. Donal has a business, legal and technology background with general management experience in financial and high growth technology firms. Donal is a NY Attorney (non-practising) and as a Fulbright Scholar at Boston College, Donal is researching the Shared Responsibility Model of Cloud computing and associated regulatory frameworks and business practices. Previously a delegate of Boston College/US State Dept. 'Strengthening Cyber Security' Program for cybersecurity leaders from North and South of Ireland.
Caroline McGroary
Dr. Caroline McGroary is a Chartered Accountant and an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Dublin City University (DCU), Ireland. She has a Ph.D. in Professional Accounting Education and was recently awarded a Fulbright Scholarship by the Fulbright Commission of Ireland. Caroline will spend the coming year at Boston College as a Fulbright Scholar working alongside leading experts on the MS in Cybersecurity Policy & Governance Program. Her research will be focused on the role of the accountant in the area of cybersecurity, as well as the extent to which organizations and individuals understand the cyber risks to which they are exposed and whether they are adequately protected against them.
Joseph Stephens
Joseph Stephens is a Cybersecurity Specialist working for the National Cyber Security Centre, a part of the Department of Communications, Climate Action and the Environment. A former Captain in the Irish Defence Forces, his current work focuses on building cyber resilience and capacity in Ireland鈥檚 critical national infrastructure. As a Fulbright TechImpact Cybersecurity Scholar, Joe will partake in the 糖心vlog直播平台 CPG Program and conduct research comparing the US and EU approaches to cyber resilience in critical national infrastructure.
Through our Applied Research Projects in Cybersecurity for Non-Profits, we work with the United Way and other non-profit organizations to not only assist the non-profits, but to also provide our students with hands-on experience in the development, delivery, and results analysis of an information and cybersecurity assessment process for local non-profit organizations.听 This program is in keeping with Boston College's mission of "developing women and men in service with and for others."

Listed as a "Woman to Watch 2018鈥� in the technology by SC Magazine (July 2018), Dr. Kelley Misata is a strategic leader and speaker who combines over 15 years in business leadership roles with a passion for facilitating critical conversations around responsible digital citizenship, digital safety, privacy, and freedom of speech online.
Today, she is expanding her groundbreaking dissertation research in the information of non-profits workings with victims of violence into a new nonprofit venture, Sightline Security. Her current role as the Executive Director of The Open Information Security Foundation and past role as Communications Director at The Tor Project allows Kelley to spotlight her expertise in fundraising, advocacy, policy discussions, marketing, training, and outreach activities with an array of stakeholders.
Kelley combines professional and research endeavors with a unique perspective as a survivor of cyberstalking. She continually draws on current trends and conversations in information security and privacy to create strategies that intersect people, process, and technology. Bringing to the table a fearless and unique perspective on privacy and security drives Kelley鈥檚 successes in her professional and academic endeavors.

Kevin is the founder and Director of the M.S. in Cybersecurity Policy and Governance Program at Boston College, and an Assistant Professor of the Practice at Boston College Law School and in Boston College鈥檚 Carroll School of Management鈥檚 Business Law and Society Department. With over 20 years of combined law enforcement, military, national security, business, higher education, and teaching experience, he has worked as an analyst and an attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Navy, U.S. Department of Defense, law firms in Boston and Washington, D.C., and as the General Counsel for an international software company based in Seattle, Washington. Along with his teaching at Boston College, Kevin is a Research Affiliate at the MIT Sloan School of Management and he has taught courses at the U.S. Naval Academy, where he was also the Deputy General Counsel to the Superintendent. Kevin also is a Senior Cybersecurity Advisor for Manatt, serves as a Trustee for the Board of Boston College High School, and as a Member of the Boston College Law School Business Advisory Council. From 2016-2017, he was the Panel Lead for the Collegiate Working Group for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE). Kevin regularly provides expert commentary regarding cybersecurity and national security concerns for varying local, national, and international media outlets.

MSCPG Students Receive Research Grants
Julia DeVoy, Ph.D., and John Heibel were awarded two cyber-digital environment research grants for the 2021-22 academic year. Dr. DeVoy is the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Students & Programs at the Lynch School of Education and Human Development and is a current National Security & Global Affairs Cybersecurity graduate certificate student. Heibel is an information system security manager at PCI and an M.S. in Cybersecurity Policy and Governance graduate ('20).
