Student Grants

Six internship grants were awarded to students who worked virtually in unpaid summer internships at various civic organizations, including the , which works to promote the ethical treatment of immigrants to ensure their social, economic, and political integration into society; , which serves youth from under-resourced families in the Boston region; and the , whose mission is to enhance the quality of life in Boston by protecting air, water, and land resources. A grant was also awarded to a student whose work with an EdTech startup seeks to improve mental health, accountability, and social well-being听for middle-schoolers.听Other students received grants to conduct research work at an international law firm on international trade and major cross-border transactions; and in Boston College鈥檚 Managing for Social Impact and the Public Good Program to conduct original research focused on leaders of non-profits, social ventures, and for-profit impact investment firms to analyze how their organizations and programs are driving positive social outcomes in society.
