It's a festive time of year at the Heights, with concert performances, celebrations, and a holiday fair in the works, as well as the return of a favorite seasonal tradition, Winter Wonderland.
Here's a look at what's ahead:
DECEMBER 2
Christmas on the Heights, Trinity Chapel, Newton Campus
December 2 at 7:30 p.m.; December 3 at 4 p.m. and 7:40 p.m., December 4 at 2 p.m.
A performance of seasonal music by the University Chorale of Boston College and the Boston College Symphony Orchestra; led by John Finney, chorale director and orchestra conductor.

DECEMBER 3
McMullen Holiday Celebration
McMullen Museum of Art, Brighton Campus, noon to 4 p.m.
At its annual holiday celebration, the McMullen Museum will host festive activities for visitors including live music, hot chocolate and holiday treats, exhibition tours, games, and arts and crafts activities throughout the museum. 听
DECEMBER 4
A Christmas Festival
300 Hammond Pond Parkway, 3 p.m.
糖心vlog直播平台 Bands presents performances by 糖心vlog直播平台 bOp!, the University Wind Ensemble, and the Symphonic Band.
DECEMBER 8
Music at St. Mary's Christmas Concert
St. Mary鈥檚 Chapel, 5 to 6 p.m.
Members of the University Chorale of Boston College, directed by John Finney, will perform music of the season.
DECEMBER 10
Winter Wonderland
Cadigan Alumni Center, Brighton Campus, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Boston College Alumni Association听invites alumni, family, and friends to experience the magic of the holiday season at Winter Wonderland, a tradition which returns to campus for the first time in three years. The fun-filled celebration has activities for all ages. Festivities will include appearances by Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, interactive performances, visits with baby animals,听train rides, and more.听 Attendees are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys for boys and girls ages six to 14, which will be donated to local children's organizations. The cost is听$15 for adults and children; free for children under age four.听

Holiday Craft Fair
Lyons Hall, Welch Dining Room, noon to 5 p.m.
Sponsored by the Arts Council, the fair will feature more than 30 student crafters who will sell a variety of handmade goods including: knit/crocheted items, artwork, jewelry, ceramics, clothing, holiday ornaments, and decorations. The Heightsmen also will perform at the beginning of the event.
OTHER UPCOMING EVENTS
December 1: Gaelic Roots concert, Connolly House, 6:30 p.m.
Traditional Irish music with Brenda Castles on concertina, joined by Alan Murray on guitar. Castles comes from a rich tradition of music in Co. Meath, has several All-Ireland Fleadh titles to her name, and was a finalist in one of the early Young Traditional Musician of the Year competitions. A native of Scotland, Murray is an accomplished performer and teacher who has become a fixture in Boston鈥檚 Celtic music community.
December 2 and 3: Week of Dance, Robsham Theater Arts Center
The annual dance celebration culminates in a two-night showcase of Boston College student teams performing a variety of styles. Shows are at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $12:50 at
December 5: 鈥淎staza,鈥 Middle East Ensemble of Boston College, Gasson 100, 8 p.m.
Boston College students and guests perform music of the Middle East under the direction of Nizar Fares.
December 7: Middle Eastern Employees & Allies Affinity Group Holiday Community Gathering, noon-1 p.m., 2150 Commonwealth Ave., Room 109
In collaboration with the Office for Institutional Diversity, the Middle Eastern Employees and Allies affinity group invites University community members to a holiday gathering. RSVP by December 2 at or by email to diversity@bc.edu.
