What makes East Africa an interesting place for investors right now?听The region is the fastest-growing in Africa. Everywhere you look, there are opportunities to provide goods and services that tangibly improve people鈥檚 lives, from sustainable agriculture and e-commerce networks to the resources we need to build batteries and electric vehicles.听
Where does your firm, Africa Insight Advisors, come in?听I founded AIA to help companies understand the nuances of doing business on the ground here. I鈥檓 the only non-African employee. Since 2015, we鈥檝e partnered on more than one hundred projects in eleven countries. We鈥檝e also raised over $38 million for East African businesses.听
What are your plans for the future?听I believe with all my heart that Africa is going to become an important听player on the global scene, and I hope our company can be a springboard听for the next generation of East African entrepreneurs.听
